Q: I placed an order for Web Hosting and I have
not yet received my account login information, where is it?
A: As soon as you make payment for Web Hosting your account will be setup instantly and your login details will be sent by email. If you did not received any login details then you should check the status of your order by logging into the Client
Area and
select 'my emails' from the navigation menu. From there you will be able to view your Welcome Email.
Q: How long do I have to wait for my Dedicated Server to be ready?
A: Typical setup times for a Dedicated Server is from 3-72 hours (please view the availability slots for live stock updates).
Q: Can I register domain names only?
A: If you only require domain name registration or extra domains for your
account you can select registration only option from order page. Please note that any Free domains you order for webhosting plans will be deducted from the total price after you have made you plan selection.
Q: How do I pay for Web Hosting or Domain Name renewals?
A: We send out automated renewal reminders at least 1 month before renewals are due, payments will be taken automatically from your credit card as default.
Please note if you prefer making manual payments then auto-billing can be cancelled at anytime via the Client Area, you can simply remove your credit card details from the system without contacting us.
Q: Do you offer uptime guarantees?
A: Yes we do, for more info please read our Web Site Availability Service
Level Agreement
Q: Do you display any banners or pop-up ads on my website?
A: Bargainhost will not display any of our promotional pop-up ads or insert
advertisements anywhere on your website. You are allowed to display your
own adverts and pop-ups if you wish.
Q: If I register a domain name with you will I be the owner?
A: Yes the domain name will be registered in your name as the owner. We are
only Admin/Tech contact, the domain can be transferred away at anytime
free of charge.
Q: Can I host or Park more than one domain on the same
account?
A: Yes, you will be able to divide your hosting account up into seperate
websites depending on what hosting plan you select. For every domain you addon to your account you will
have a unique URL with seperate login and email accounts. You can also park
domains on your account, all domain features can be accessed from within
Cpanel.
Q: How much do I pay for domain name renewals?
A: .com .net .org .info .biz domains will cost £10.99
per year, co.uk org.uk me.uk domains will cost £10.99

Q: I already have a domain registered, I just need hosting.
What must I do?
A: You will need to click on transfer
domain
then enter your domain name
and sign up for hosting. From the hosting order page you can choose to keep your existing domain name at your Registrars and only transfer the nameservers. Or if you choose a Registrar transfer then the transfer fees only apply below for non UK domain names:
Global Domain names: It costs £7.45 to transfer a global domain (.com .net .org) to your hosting plan, as a special bonus you will receive an extra 1 years extension on your registration (£10.99 value).
UK Domain names: It is FREE to transfer UK domain names to your hosting plan, you only pay for domain renewals when they are due.
Q: Can I transfer my domain name from my exisiting Registrars?
A: If you want to transfer domain names without hosting or to add to your existing hosting account then you can choose to transfer single domain names or bulk domain transfers during your order. You can even choose to transfer domain names at a later stage anytime you like through the Client Area.
It is FREE to transfer UK domain names, you only pay for domain renewals when they are due.

Q: Do you charge to transfer domain names away?
A: We do not charge any fees to transfer a domain away, you can change IPSTAG or transfer domain name to another Registrar via the Client Area.
Q: Do you keep backups of customers websites?
A: Bargainhost will keep daily backups of customers websites and archive them for months on our backup servers, there is no fee for this premium service.
Q: Can you recover my website data from your system
backups?
A: Yes we can restore customers site from the most recent backups, or you can recover your own data from the backup server via Cpanel access.

Q: Can I upgrade my existing hosting plan.
A: If you already have an account with us you can upgrade your account to
a higher plan at anytime on a pro-rata basis, this can be done via the Client Area.
Q: How can I see when my domains are set to be billed?
A: Log into the Client Area,
select the domain from the domain list on your account page. Then, click
view and you will be able to see the billing status.
Q: How do I update my account information?
A: Log into your account Client
Area, your account information will be displayed at the top of the
page, and you will be able to edit it at that point.
Q: What level of support do I get with your hosting accounts?
A: When you receive your account details there will be links to manuals that
guide you in every area of your control-panel from setting up emails and
uploading your site. You will also find most help for your basic support
from our Support Knowledgebase you
should not be stuck for help once you have searched through the help categories.
If you do get stuck or there is a problem please dont hesitate to contact our Techs who are available online 24/7 from the Helpdesk
We will respond to support requests if there is any server side problems. We cannot help clients with CGI/Perl scripts or any other third party software, you should contact authors of scripts regarding problems and script configurations or enlist the services of companies that will configure scripts.
